ABOUT ME:
I have a humanistic foundation that involves creating a safe space with a nonjudgmental empathic environment while working on gaining trust, walking alongside the client at their pace, and meeting the client where they’re at. I personalize therapy for each client’s specific needs and make adjustments when needed. I use an integrative approach that consists of using internal family systems, cognitive-behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, play therapy, psychoeducation, attachment therapy, mindfulness, and EMDR. My approach also challenges distorted perceptions and changes destructive patterns of behavior. This kind of approach helps with individual happiness and helps improve relationships.
“Life brings us a lot of ups and downs, challenges, and growth opportunities. I’m here to walk alongside you on this journey of self-acceptance one part at a time and assist with self-compassion when facing rough, shadowy, difficult, or unresolved aspects of your life. I work with children, teens, and adults. I am a Marine Corps Veteran, wife, and stepmom that loves spending time with my children, dogs, chickens, and cats. Nature is a big part of my life, and I also enjoy gardening, crafts, antiquing, and adventuring.”
